Recurring Lesson Scheduling

Set your availability once and let students book recurring weekly or bi-weekly lessons. Makeup credits, cancellation windows, and studio policies are enforced automatically — no awkward conversations required.

Automatic Invoicing & Payment Collection

Cadenza generates invoices and collects lesson fees via card or ACH at the time of booking or on a monthly cycle, so you stop chasing payments over text and Venmo.

Per-Student Practice Material Library

Upload sheet music PDFs, audio recordings, and video clips directly to each student's private library. Students and parents access everything through a companion app — nothing gets lost in an inbox again.

Student & Parent Portal

Busy parents get a clean, dedicated view of their child's lesson schedule, upcoming payments, and practice assignments — reducing the back-and-forth messages that eat up your evenings.

Studio Policies Built Into the Booking Flow

Define your cancellation policy, makeup lesson rules, and late payment terms once. Cadenza surfaces them at booking so enforcement is automatic, not uncomfortable.

Lesson Reminders on Autopilot

Automated reminders go out to students and parents before each lesson, cutting down on no-shows without you having to send a single text.

How it works

1

Set Up Your Studio

Enter your availability, lesson types, durations, and rates once — Cadenza builds your bookable schedule instantly.

2

Students Book & Pay

Share your booking link; students or parents self-schedule recurring lessons and pay by card or ACH, with your studio policies applied automatically.

3

Teach, Upload, Repeat

After each lesson, drop sheet music, recordings, or clips into the student's private library — they open the companion app and everything is there for practice week.

FAQ

When will Cadenza launch?

We are currently in pre-launch development and recruiting our first beta cohort of independent teachers. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first invited when we open beta access.

Do I need to switch my students to a new app too?

Students and parents will use a lightweight companion app to view their schedule and access practice materials. It's designed to be simple enough that even a parent who barely uses their phone can navigate it without your help.

How does payment processing work, and what does it cost?

Cadenza uses Stripe under the hood. On the Free tier we add a 2% platform fee on top of Stripe's standard card processing fees. The Solo tier reduces that to 1.5%, and the Studio tier drops it to 1%. You always see a clear breakdown before you charge a student.

What happens if I already have more than 5 students when I sign up?

The Free tier is designed to let you try the full workflow with a small group. If you're already teaching 10, 20, or 30 students, you'll want to start on the Solo or Studio plan — we'll make it easy to migrate your existing student list during onboarding.

I'm worried about a billing error upsetting a student's family. How does Cadenza handle that?

Every invoice is generated from the lesson data you've already confirmed, and both you and the family receive a receipt for every transaction. If a charge needs to be corrected, you can issue a credit or refund directly from the app. We're building transparent audit trails so there's never any ambiguity about what was charged and why.
