Splitta
Splitta lets independent producers create a signed royalty split sheet in under two minutes — then collects e-signatures from every collaborator automatically, so nothing is left to memory or a DM thread.
Enter each collaborator's name, role (producer, co-writer, featured artist), and ownership percentage — Splitta auto-populates the legal language and formats the document for you. No templates to hunt down, no blank Google Docs.
Splitta sends every collaborator a signing link directly to their phone or inbox. They sign from any device; you get notified the moment all parties are locked in.
Every executed agreement lives in one organized place — searchable by track name, collaborator, or date — so when a sync license inquiry or PRO audit arrives, you have documentation ready in seconds.
Export your split data in formats built specifically for ASCAP, BMI, and DistroKid registration, cutting out the manual re-entry that causes registration errors and delayed royalty collection.
When a collaborator wants to revise percentages, the conversation happens inside Splitta — not buried across Instagram DMs, iMessages, and voice notes — so every proposed change is timestamped and on the record.
Designed around the way bedroom producers actually work: finishing a beat at 2 a.m. and needing to lock in splits before the featured vocalist moves on to the next project.
How it works
Enter your track title, add each collaborator's name and role, assign ownership percentages, and Splitta generates a properly formatted split sheet instantly.
Splitta sends each collaborator a secure signing link via SMS or email — they sign from their phone, no account required.
The fully executed document is saved to your cloud vault and can be exported as a PDF or in PRO-ready format whenever you need it.

Splitta uses a third-party e-signature API that meets the standards set by the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA for most commercial agreements. That said, enforceability can vary by jurisdiction and deal type — for high-value sync licenses or label deals, we strongly recommend reviewing any agreement with a qualified music attorney. Splitta is a workflow tool, not a substitute for legal counsel.
Splitta sends automated signing reminders and shows you the real-time status of each collaborator's signature. If someone remains unresponsive, the sheet stays in a 'pending' state and you retain a full record of when the request was sent — which can itself be useful documentation.
No. Splitta charges a flat subscription fee and takes zero percentage of your publishing, master, or performance royalties. Your splits are entirely between you and your collaborators.
At launch we are targeting ASCAP, BMI, and DistroKid export formats. SESAC and international PRO formats are on the roadmap. If your PRO isn't listed, the standard PDF export will still contain all the data you need to register manually.
We are currently in pre-launch development. Joining the waitlist puts you first in line for our closed beta, where real feedback from working producers will shape the final product before public release.
